Hi — I’m Brian. Nice you meet you.
I’m a little nerdy, sometimes a little silly, and one of my great wishes in life is to know what my kids’ text messages to me actually mean. (Please…help me?)
I’ve loved teaching since I was in third grade. I grew up making friends with my teachers and as I worked my way through school, I started teaching them everything I knew about this weird new thing called the “internet.”
About that time I also found out I loved science. After high school I started teaching biology, math, and writing to anyone who would listen, and I found out it is so much fun to show others the easy tricks to understand the tricky stuff.
I promise - with a little effort, it’ll be so worth it!

In high school I was a science and computer enthusiast before it was cool to call it STEM. Yahoo was the default search engine, and Google hadn’t yet discovered ads.
Eventually, I knew I wanted to make life better for others. I graduated with a Ph.D. in molecular biology and immunology, and I worked in the biotech corporate world to design new gene therapies for rare diseases.
I’ve always loved teaching and tutoring, and now I want to give back. Together, we can give our loved ones every chance to excel.
The first step is to schedule a short get-to-know-me consultation over email, phone call, or Zoom so you can meet me and I can learn about your student and your schedule. (Soon we’ll have an online self-scheduling — it’s almost ready.)
